Where are the Family Room's located?
Our first Family Room (and the first in Colorado) is located at Memorial's Hospital for Children directly across from the NICU entrance on the 3rd floor of the East Tower.

Our second Family Room (currently under construction) will be located in St Francis Medical Center in the Pediatric Unit.

Who can use the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms?
Any family with a child patient of Memorial's Hospital for Children or St Francis Medical Center are eligible to use the Family Rooms.

Is it possible to spend the night in the Family Room?
We do not have overnight services available in either of the Family Rooms. However, the Ronald McDonald House is only a half a block away from Memorial's Hospital for Children and may have availability. Please check with the social worker on staff at either of the hospitals.

What services do the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide?

    A kitchenette that includes a microwave
    Shower facilities including toiletries
    Laundry facilities, including washer/dryer and laundry detergent
    Laptop computers with wireless Internet access
    Reference books
    Comfortable seating with a flat screen TV
    Snacks/beverages
    Separate play room for siblings (complete with age appropriate toys)
    Individual lockers for daily storage of personal items

Who operates the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms?
The Family Rooms are operated by our local RMHC Chapter who is responsible to our Board of Directors. Daily operations of the Family Rooms are handled 100% by volunteers.

How can I support the Ronald McDonald Family Room?
Since the Family Rooms are staffed 100% by volunteers and amenities are stocked by donations, there are daily opportunities available in the Family Rooms. Whether you want to volunteer your time by helping to staff the Family Rooms, donate individually packaged snacks or make a cash donation, there are many ways to get involved and help our families!
